Active Body Active Mind is a connected mesh where people are able to interact with each other and with their surrounding environment, meeting new friends, exploring new practises and sharing experiences.
Active Body Active Mind enables yoga teachers, holistic practitioners, sound healers, nature, arts and crafts, and food conscious community based organizations, fitness and yoga practitioners and initiatives to connect with each other.
Active Body Active Mind is non-competitive but gain its strength from the local knowledge adunicity of the skills of each on of its member, who work in synchronicity.
Absolute Beginners: Couch to 5km - Walk to Run is a Twelve weeks plan. In partnership with Colmore Business District.
Taking up Running can seem like a daunting project especially if you have never run before, feel out of shape or unfit. Our Beginners programme is designed to get just about anyone off the Couch and gradually working up to Running 5km ( or for half an hour), in just twelve weeks. It is designed for absolute beginners using a mixture of walking and jogging to gradually build up your fitness and stamina. Get in touch if you'd like to join us. Our Run leaders are fully qualified in Leaders in Running fitness awarded by the England Athletics Association and are First Aid Trained.
