When did you first hear about Bitcoin?

Mid 2011

What about Bitcoin do you find appealing?

The almost friction-less nature of the transactions.

What, in your opinion, are the main challenges facing Bitcoin going forward?

Non-immediate payment verification. That many of the startups around bitcoin are going to add the same features, and taking similar commissions, that Credit Card processors offer, so in the end it going to be the anonymity which is the advantage, which is not a big advantage for most consumer purchases. And the Feds (US Department of Justice), can shut it down, as they (indirectly) shutdown offshore gambling and offshore banking.

Are you involved in any specific Bitcoin-related initiatives?

Programmer, lately doing VOIP, database and web programming.
