They are putting up a US based server this week FYI, I have heard mixed results about both from people in the USA. Middlecoin supposedly gets more stales Hashcow gets more rejects.

multipool is an option also, but you have to exchange the coins yourself. I really don't have time for that right now. :P

So I did the milk crate thing with 4x7950's. Three cheap powercolors pcs+ and one reference card.

Not getting awesome numbers on them, but for the $150each I paid for three of the cards, and the $250 for the reference....I can't really complain. I honestly could have flipped these on ebay and made a profit...but I'm in it for the long run.

Mining at Middlecoin right now. 18 hours of mining got me .06btc, and its looking like the next 24 will net me .07+btc.

We'll see if those numbers hold(I can't imagine they will). Seems like the guy running Middlecoin is really making some good choices lately with which altcoins he goes for.

TC all has to do with memory, so its not based on your card but how much memory the system and card have available to it.

Yep. Well its card memory, I just don't see how he had a 40k TC. No one else is doing that. I mean you can put it as high as you want, but the card is not going to be able to do after a certain point and/or you will get crappier results. That is why they say to increase it in increments of 10.

I will be bringing my custom Bamt Distro for mining to this meeting, please be aware it requires a drive bigger then 4GB to use Win32DiskImager. Even tho I designed it to fit on 4GB flash drives somethings up. Ill fix it at another point. You can currently get it on a 4GB flash drive is you clone it to a bigger drive then use Gparted to copy the drive over ignoring errors.

Yah I'm running BAMT 1.1 on my rig now, and I definitely had config differences from 1.0. The 7950's I have are in the[masked]kh/s range, I was getting better numbers when I tweaked, but it was less stable and I needed to be able to leave it stable while I was sleeping and at work. I'll do some more playing later, but these powercolors aren't in the same class as the sapphires(to be expected).

Will miss this one due to too many business related Christmas parties, but looking forward to the next one. Went to one of the first Bitcoin meetups in NYC: just noticed that caused meetup.com to focus its alerts to me on that geographic area; have edited my profile so now will be aware of meetups closer to home. Interest is broader than BTC: digital cash; smartphone/wearable wallets; underlying technologies to ensure their reliability, scalability & security.

Hey guys, come with a few BTC to sell, I found a few vendors north of cuse who can take them, and I only have like .15 left. Looking forward to the meeting. See you then.
