Join us on Day 3 of EdCon and Sydney Blockchain Week! Following the 3 day Hackathon, we will be hosting an intimate session in Sydney's CBD, with a number of international Ethereum experts to deep dive into the latest developments in the Ethereum ecosystem and what is planned for the future ahead.
1. FIRESIDE CHAT - Observations of Ethereum in Asia
We will kick off with a fireside chat with John Lilic, who is director for global business technology development, strategy and operations at ConsenSys where he and his team partner with Fortune 500s (Microsoft, Deloitte, RWE RedHat), as they embark their Ethereum blockchain discovery to deliver solutions that streamline their businesses.
Previously, Lilic was focused on distributed energy resource development at his role with LO3 Energy, a New York City startup, where he worked on developing the Brooklyn Microgrid, the TransActive Grid and Project Exergy.
In NFP, Lilic is the co-founder of Code to Inspire, a 501(c)(3) NFP committed to educating female students in Herat, Afghanistan by teaching them how to code and helping them find employment as programmers (partnered with Google, PwC, Github).
