This instance of our regular Game Development day coincides with the Ludum Dare 29, a competition and game jam (judged seperately). Some have already started on an entry for the jam, but anyone is welcome to join us for the 27th to continue with their own projects or helping out with the Ludum Dare jam entry. I have hence set the time to 10:00 since this is the time we will beging working on the Ludum Dare entry, but regular game dev day will still commence at 17:00
For info about Ludum Dare, see http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/rules/
Are you working on a game project or want to start one? Meetup on Bitraf game development day and you'll get a larger environment around you. It's much nicer to sit with others and it opens for opportunities to make contacts, discuss ideas, get others to test, meet future collaborators and exchange experiences.
These evenings are by no means limited to programming. If you work with game-graphics in 2D or 3D, illustrations, work with audio and video for games - everything related to game development suits this evening.
There are no technical limitations, so use the tools you want. Bitraf has also been a good environment for Unity users, with both designers and programmers among members. Occasionally we will arrange workshops on relevant topics these evenings.
The doors are open from 17 and into the evening. Bitraf is open to everyone, but closes when the last member goes home for the day.
