Meet our Founder
Harvard-educated Sociologist Maureen O'Crean, M.B.A., has a golden touch. With over 20 years of results to her credit, Maureen has written successful grants and raised funds in the non-profit and public sectors. An expert in Internet marketing and women's issues, Maureen has her hand on the pulse of women today and their priorities in life.

A Business Owner herself, Maureen is tuned into the issues that face Business Owners, each and every day. Together with her clients, she has designed a number of creative solutions to these challenges. She brings these solutions to you. Since 1996, Maureen has been working with small businesses and entrepreneurs on living the life of their dreams and making money at it.

Maureen holds an AB from Harvard University (magna cum laude-sociological research) and an MBA from the State University of Albany with a concentration in Management Information Systems. Her unique training includes the Institute of Politics, Kennedy School of Government at Harvard where she was an assistant to world leaders, senators and political leaders during their transitions from the public to the private sector.

An accomplished public speaker, Maureen receives rave reviews for her dynamic, inspirational, and engaging presentations. Maureen has spoken to diverse audiences from the American Business Women's Association to the Society of Manufacturing Engineers with the same results: energized and enthusiastic participants.

Maureen not only coaches people to live their dreams, she lives hers as well. A single parent to 2 adult sons, she is a co-author of I Am Diva, Every Woman's Guide to Outrageous Living (Warner Books, April,2003) and numerous short stories and podcast. She is the founder of Distinctively Diva - Sugarhouse, a social Meetup group of fabulous women, just like you.

Maureen is the founder of A Bed of My Own, a 501c3 committed to assisting homeless mothers in developing those skills needed to be self-sufficient and having no child grow up on the streets.
