Public Lecture by Jason Kendall: 1609: How Galileo Shook the World

A Public Lecture by Jason Kendall at the UACNJ Jenny Jump State Park Observatory and Nature Center.  There is no public transportation out to the location, but members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York will be car-pooling out there.

After the talk, there will be stargazing in one of the darkest places within a short drive of New York City.

No RSVP required at the UACNJ.

Oh, wow, I am another of the car-less crowd... Too bad there seems to be no weekend train to Hackettstown Station from NY Penn Station.
