Canada’s Labour Market Needs : Changes in Canada’s immigration policy may affect you!

Canadian immigration law continues to undergo profound changes with the most recent changes already in effect as of Jan 1, 2015 – in a Sept 2014 interview with Gerard Baker (Wall Street Journal editor), Prime Minister Stephen Harper said "We have been quite systematically re-orienting our immigration over the last several years to make it more focused on economic needs and focused on more long-term labour market needs" -

Navigating the maze of Canadian immigration requirements can be overwhelming and failing to recognize the nuances can have serious consequences. This session will provide you with the latest on immigration measures as well as “tricks of the trade” to permanent/citizenship status in Canada. The key learning objective will examine the procedural issues involved in submitting and processing applications, while focusing on understanding the basic immigration requirements.

Our Speakers are happy to provide information on a wide range of immigration and citizenship topics such as: PR (Permanent Resident) application, work permit extension, Canadian Citizenship application among others
