What we're about

If you're interested in developing blockchain applications using hyperledger, then this is the place to be!

We will cover:
• Hyperledger Fabric
• Hashgraph
• Ethereum and Solidity development on permissionless blockchain applications
• Directory Architecture for organizing blockchain applications
• Reaching Consensus without the expense of proof of work
• The differences between Ethereum, Bitcoin, Hyperledger, and Hashgraph
• And many more topics will be discussed!

Who should join:
• Jr. Developers looking to learn about the blockchain development to get an entry level job as a blockchain developer
• Sr. Developers who want to take advantage of the blockchain and build applications that have 'first mover advantage'

HyperLedger, what is it good for?
Needs a date and time

Alley Chelsea

What to expect: A roundtable discussion about real-world applications that are using HyperLedger Fabric Who will be speaking: The format of the event allows anyone with any examples of HyperLedger applications the opportunity to speak • If you have something to say please message me. Who is this meetup for? This is great for blockchain developers and enthusiasts that have a basic understanding of distributed ledger technology. What is the HyperLeger Fabric? Simple Definition: It's permission based blockchain for businesses Official Description: Hyperledger Fabric is a platform for distributed ledger solutions, underpinned by a modular architecture delivering high degrees of confidentiality, resiliency, flexibility and scalability. Where and when will this event take place? I'm currently seeking a venue that can hold 40-60 people in Manhattan. The good news is there are venues interested but agreeing on a date is difficult.

Jordan Fried, is the VP of marketing of Hashgraph, a consensus mechanism / data structure alternative to blockchain. A decentralized platform without servers built on Hashgraph technology will enable blockchain use cases to run: • 250,000+ Transactions Per Second (Pre-Sharding) • Mathematically Proven Fairness (via Consensus Time Stamping) • Bank-Grade Security (Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerant) **This event is still in planning and needs a location. The date is expected to be in December**
