This is the proposed 2nd Blogger Meetup of 2015. This one held in Center City Philly.
We will be holding the Meetup in the food court, in the back, in the wing to the right. Hope to see you there!

Small number of attendees but very informative.

I enjoyed my first meeting with this group. Mother Nature didn't exactly cooperate---it was snowing furiously during our meeting---but 5 of us made it. (I didn't win the award for traveling the farthest since I just had a 4 block walk). Thank you to Karl for persevering in getting us together.

Suzanne, it was great meeting you! Thanks for suggesting Liberty Place, and for being there! I'm looking forward to seeing you at later meetups.

Have a great meeting -- I'm with Philly Writers Meetup and our bloggers meet on the third Sat. at a cafe on Boathouse Row. Maybe we can invite you all to the Cosmic Cafe and have a joint meeting in March. Check us out at:http://www.meetup.com/writers-362/events/220340699/

It's looking like I may not be able to make it tomorrow after all. I apologize and hope to attend the next meet up!

Sorry to miss you Annie! Maybe next time.
Hi All - I publish several things online, including a daily, e-mail newsletter called 'EnviroPolitics' and the 'Enviro-Events Calendar.' My blog is 'EnviroPolitics Blog.' I live in Yardley, Pa., love Center City, and am looking forward to meeting and sharing notes with fellow bloggers. Thank you, Karl, for organizing this--a job no one covets.--Frank
Hi, we have 17 RSVPs for Saturday! I'm going to scout out Liberty Place based on Suzanne's suggestion over the next couple days. If someone has another spot to offer that we can arrange in time, lets set it up :)

How many people do you anticipate will be attending? We could potentially use the conference room at CultureWorks, a co-working space I belong to located at Juniper and Walnut.

Hi Olivia,So far there are who have RSVPed.

Olivia- I love the idea of a coworking space for this--what are the prospects of accommodating up to 16 people (the number of RSVPs as I'm writing this)?

Not precisely Center City. Material Culture?

Suzanne, that's an intriguing idea. There is the food court at the Comcast Center too that should be open that Saturday.

My experience with Marathon Grill is that it's pretty noisy. I attended a meet up of another group that met at the second floor Food Court in One Liberty Place (16th and Chestnut, so not far from Suburban Station). It's an L shape and the area around the corner from the main area is pretty quiet. Not haute cuisine, but cheap eats and coffee and people won't get p.o.'d if we're talking like they might in most coffee shops I've been to. There shouldn't be a problem getting a table at that time. But, I'll go wherever.

One qualification is that we need to be able to reserve a table for 5 to 10 people on an early Saturday afternoon. Do either Marathon Grill, Midtown II Diner do that? Anyone got a moment to give them a call?

What about Marathon Grill on Sansom Street?

My fave CC venue is the Midtown II Diner at 11th and Sansom. They have booths in one section and long tables in the other, and inexpensive fare.

I'm glad you chose center city. There are lots of quiet coffee houses to choose from.Lewwww.bookplatejunkie.blogspot.com
