This is not true, there are absolutely no studies to indicate this. Another myth is that the capacity for innovation only exists to a handful of lucky people like, Steve Jobs. While, yes, there is only one Steve Jobs, there are things that people can do to cultivate creativity. Keep in mind that creativity is not one thing. When you say somebody&#8217;s creative, it&#8217;s not just because they know how to paint. When somebody says you are creative, if that word and term is applied correctly, it can be applied to anything you do.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>It is very important to trust your authenticity. Having that confidence is very important for creativity and the ability to take a risk because nothing ventured is nothing gained. You have to understand that being willing to take a risk also comes with the possibility that you may fail. Failure is a whole chapter in my book because failure means you went far, and you are experimental, you&#8217;re trying new things all the time. You&#8217;re failing because you are taking chances and enough risks for you to see some big project come to fruition or some big leap. It is important you train yourself to embrace failure and embrace risk-taking. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Creativity in your everyday life is all about the exploration of the authentic self. Act intentionally by respecting the traits you have. You&#8217;ve got to respect who you are without trying to force new traits upon yourself. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-top-q-a-resources\">Top Q&amp;A &amp; Resources <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Creativity and ideas are not a problem. I have so many ideas, and I need help making them happen. Do you have any suggestions to help with that?<ul><li>I think that you find the solution to ideas that are possible and executable by actually taking action. That&#8217;s the most important thing that I can give to anybody who has a lot of ideas and never makes them happen, or has a hard time materializing them is that ideas happen only when you take action. You&#8217;ve got to propel the idea forward. You are the owner of that idea. It&#8217;s okay to be ambitious but it&#8217;s not okay to be so ambitious that ideas are unrealizable, because then is frustrating. Break your idea into actionable, realistic steps. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>How do you best identify what your creative strengths are?<ul><li>They are rooted in what we&#8217;re most passionate about. There has been a lot of this caution about one&#8217;s purpose and a lot of discussion about intuition. I think you have to be very honest with yourself and ask questions about your intuition. I would ask in silence in a meditative state when you&#8217;re very calm, what are your biggest talents? And were your biggest strengths? Then I would wait for the answer not immediately, but something that hits you as a hunch at a certain point.
