Thank you for all you do!<\/li><li>Online events are here to stay, but we want to talk about the future of our communities. How we create human connections and to do so safely?<\/li><li>We are initiating our Get Back Together movement starting in 3 areas: China, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.&nbsp;<ul><li>We\u2019re working with organizers and members to set a goal. When that goal is met, Meetup will donate 50% of your next month\u2019s subscription to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalgiving.org\/projects\/coronavirus-relief-fund\/\">Global Giving&#8217;s Coronavirus Relief Fund<\/a>.<\/li><li>We\u2019ll be expanding to more areas in the future, as situations allow.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If and when you feel that it is safe for your group to meet in person, here are some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetup.com\/lp\/resources\">helpful guidelines<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top Q&amp;A Questions:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Can you show timezones more accurately and specifically? For both members and organizers.<ul><li>I cannot agree more about how important showing the correct time zone is. It\u2019s definitely on our roadmap and the priority will be raised. There\u2019s a lot of tricky aspects to timezones, but the number one priority for us is your members. We want the experience for your members to be clear and we\u2019re working on it.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Are there any plans to expand the number of supported currencies? What about cryptocurrency?<ul><li>The lack of flexibility in currency, in credit cards, is something that frustrates me. As we look at our product roadmap, it\u2019s something we absolutely need to do (but it\u2019s an even bigger project than the time zone display). <br>We\u2019ll be looking into cryptocurrencies as well. We\u2019re here to listen to your needs.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Should we follow local rules when it comes to hosting in-person events?<ul><li>Yes. You should follow local rules set by your government and other local authorities.
