The formula is really simple, \u201coffer value, offer value, offer value, then ask.\u201d So many people are offering services for free, so you have to provide value. Offering value and then selling from there.<\/li><li>I challenge people to think about what success means to them. If your measure of success is large numbers of people coming to your webinar or converting sales immediately, there\u2019s a chance you can be disappointed. If your point of entry is &#8220;what can you get out of it?&#8221; I don\u2019t think that\u2019s a great start. I think that <strong>people on Meetup are coming for a community<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li><li>If you\u2019re starting from scratch, here are some tips:<ul><li>Know your sphere of expertise<\/li><li>Differentiate yourself\/product<\/li><li>Take your time developing content&nbsp;<\/li><li>Know your target audience&nbsp;<\/li><li>Know your audiences pain points and how your content will make an impact on their lives<\/li><li>Know your goals<\/li><li>Dedicate time to learning the \u2018ins\u2019 and \u2018outs\u2019 of Meetup<\/li><li>Be ready to serve<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top Q&amp;A Questions:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>I\u2019m at the stage where I\u2019d like to charge for my events, what are my next steps?<ul><li>It\u2019s really that simple formula of \u201cvalue, value, value, ask.\u201d Consider giving your best content away. If you can bring a lot of solid content to people, they\u2019ll ask, \u201cwhat else can I get from this person?\u201d I would err on the side of caution. If you can offer for a bit less, do it. And work your way up.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>How do you avoid audience drop off?<ul><li>You can do <a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SurveyMonkey<\/a> and ask what worked. Also asking \u201cwhat would you like to get from this?\u201d before the event.<br>I think people think they know what people want. But when you ask them, you can be quite surprised.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>How does Meetup Pro help you manage your groups?<ul><li>There\u2019s analytics within Pro that you can use. But the beauty of Meetup is that they\u2019re doing the vetting for you and pre-qualifying people for you.<br>You can send out messages to each group or blanket message and it has helped to save a lot of time. You can do templates for webinars and implement it across the board.
