Blog Action Day - Today - October 15th

From: Emma
Sent on: Friday, October 15, 2010 1:17 PM
Today is Blog Action Day, a day where bloggers come together to blog on a single issue (or in the face of "bloggers' block," blogging about Blog Action Day), with an eye towards creating awareness around the issue and encouraging people to take action around said issue.

This year's issue is water. According to the Blog Action Day website, more than 5000 bloggers from 130 countries are coming together for a single day of blogging about a single topic: water.

The Blog Action Day website has a fact sheet on water accessibility (or inaccessibility) you can use as a resource: http://blogactionday.change.org/why-water

You, of course are not limited to just that.

In order to participate in Blog Action Day, you need to register at their website: http://blogactionday.change.org/

My Blog Action Day post will be up (after 6pm) at http://kitlat.wordpress.com/.

National Blog Posting Month will be starting on November 1st and run until November 30th. You can register at nablopomo.ning.com. I'll be trying to set up some "blog-ins" for November. Stay tuned.

Sincerely,

Emma, your Organizer.
