What we're about

This is a weekly meet up for people who like to play board games and RPG's. We meet in a community centre and so have plenty of table space, we can accommodate the larger games. Also we have a kitchen you are welcome to use on the understanding you clean up afterwards, if you bring a takeaway we just ask you take your rubbish home. If you fancy a brew just help yourselves. What about the people you will meet? We are a mixed bunch of people of varying ages from various walks of life. New faces are always welcome and we are happy to teach people games they are unfamiliar with. Popular games at the moment are Pathfinder for the roleplayers. However the list of games popular with the board gamers is extensive, a few examples of recent games are Mansions of madness, Quarter master general, Bausack, and Tzolkin.

Unfortunately we have to charge for entry because we rent the hall, however neither me or any of the other members make any money out of this, it done on a purely voluntary basis because it's a good venue to play games and all money generated is used to run the club (rent) and buy in tea and coffee which is free by the way, just help yourself. Secondly when new faces turn up you are considered guests and we don't expect you help with the rent on the first week. It's currently £3 a session but the more members we get the more we can push the price down.
