Meet kindred book lovers in a local Meetup Book Club! Fiction or non-fiction, paperback or hardcover even digital, you'll read a new book every month. Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends!

We are currently hosted by The Town Hall Tavern (https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=20+Tib+Lane+%28just+off+Albert+Square%29%2C+Manchester+M2+4JA%2C+gb) at 20 Tib Lane (just off Albert Square), Manchester M2 4JA at 7:30pm on the first Monday of the month. It's upstairs in the function room.

Book Club

The Town Hall Tavern

We have this month the pleasure of welcoming the author Wayne Barton to the Town Hall Tavern (upstairs as usual). He will be discussing his novel “Peach” and we’ll have a Q&A session so please bring along any questions that arise while you are reading the novel. Please come along and make Wayne feel welcome.

The meeting takes place upstairs in the function room, the cost is £1 pound per person which covers the meet-up website fees this is to be paid in cash at the meeting, no profit is made and all funds received will go back into the book club. The book up for discussion at the August meet-up is: Quartet in Autumn by Barbara Pym (Genre: What Should Have Won The Booker) We will also be picking a book for our October meeting (Genre: Non Fiction Prize Winners.
