I'm just wanting to make sure this is happening, since only Fred and I are listed as attending. It's a big commute for me and I have a lot of work to prepare for Monday, but I was so looking forward to discussing this marvelous book and Montaigne.

Has the group read any contemporary Irish literature in past months.

I'd also be interested in rereading The Dubliners by James Joyce.

I just checked out the book from the library and am finding Montaigne's life fascinating. Now I'm going to have to read his essays. Bakewell's book is mostly biographical.
