Wild Dark Shore is about the impossible choices we make to protect the people we love.

A family on a remote island. A mysterious woman washed ashore. A rising storm on the horizon.

A man loses the love of his life and takes a job that moves his family to a remote island off the coast of Australia. Way off. As in Antarctica adjacent. That change of scenery thing? Yeah, he still talks to her on the daily.

And things are getting rough on the island. All the other employees left and it’s time to leave. Then a strong storm hits the island and a woman washes up on their shores. Literally.

This woman affects them all. The gruff man who is desperately trying to hold it together. His teenage daughter who has become half-feral. His teenage son with anger issues. Plus his youngest son, a child prodigy who never got to be a child. All of them with secrets, and carrying wounds they barely understand.

They want to embrace this woman but she came here on a mission. To find her missing husband. And while they all know where he is . . . they're not telling.

Distrust sets in while the storms around them get worse. All they have to do is survive the next seven weeks when a ship docks for them. The woman races against the clock to uncover the truth, while others rush to bury their secrets.

How far would you go for love? And what’s left when it’s gone?
