This 7 3/4 mile out-and-back 3 1/4-hour exploring hike starts at 360 Access Trailhead and follows a less-used Barton Greenbelt trail to Twin and Sculpture Falls and beyond. This weeks hike will be slow enough for photos out and cardio fast return.
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by." This is one of my favorite hikes. It is challenging, but not dangerous; mysterious yet approachable.
Be on time. We will leave promptly at 8:05 am. This is for a small group of fun people (who like to hike). This is for experienced hikers who already have good conditioning and balance, and who enjoy trails with rocky, uneven terrain. Wear hiking shoes. Bring water, a snack, and your camera. No dogs or raptors please. This hike is cross-posted. We will go rain or shine. We will cancel only if Barton Creek is closed or if it is lightning.
Notes on how to find: Turn at the light into what appears to be an office complex. Make an immediate left on entering and go straight into a gravel parking lot with the distinct green Austin Parks and Recreation sign "Barton Creek Green Belt" . The sign and parking are in the left front corner of the property. Remember, just turn at that light! There’s overflow parking in the office park on weekends. Don't leave visible valuables in your car, lock everything in you trunk.

ALL hikers must sign a liability release/waiver at the trailhead.
