This is a fun and easy four-mile hike around Lady Bird Lake via South 1st, taking about one and 1/2 hours.
Be on time. We will leave promptly at 7:35 am. This is for a small group of fun people (who like to hike.) We will walk fast enough for conditioning, but slow enough to enjoy the view. This hike will be held every weekend rain or shine, hot or cold. If wet, bring your umbrella and windbreaker. Some of the best times to walk are when it is raining. Start the morning right (beat the heat, beat the crowd). Parking is available under Mopac, north and south of the river. Dogs on leash are welcome. If you are late, you probably can catch us by going left on the trail following the lake.
This hike is cross-posted.
