Honestly, I'm not sure what the greatest thing is about being this age except that I still have a sense of adventure and can still get out there and do them. I prefer the company of a few good friends than going alone, though. I've seen a lot and have learned a lot about life, so I guess that makes this age group fairly tolerant of each other and accepting.
Laughter and enjoying the moment keeps me young. Looking at things from a positive perspective keeps life light. Besides that, I enjoy volunteering my time and talents to help out others. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grown kids, talking about the twisted turns of life, things yet to be done, and the dreams to make them happen.
To have fun, I enjoy hiking along trails, camping out under the stars, easy-going kayaking, fishing, and exploring old forts. I absolutely love road trips!...the longer the road, the more twists, the better. I like stopping along the way to see what the landscape has to offer and mill around. I like to keep things spontaneous, but with a general plan of destination and estimated time of arrival. Keeping things honest, simple, and easy-going and meeting people that appreciate those qualities makes any event fun and entertaining.

I prefer the outdoor over indoor activities, good conversation over loud venues, and the comfort of a few quality relationships over tons of "first name friends." I listen with my heart and see by the actions of others. Easy-going and very simple.
