This group is an Orange County based social book club for women in their mid twenties to early thirties who love to read between the wines. Join us on the third Sunday of the month from 4:30-6:30 PM to discuss a new book! 📚
Haven't been to a Boozy Book Babes event before? Not sure what kind of group we are, or if you'll fit in? Here’s a little background on who we are! Boozy Book Babes is a social book club that launched January 2020 for young millennial women looking for a girl gang, a way to connect with a new city, or just an excuse to sip on some bubbly (because… wine not?). Whether you consider yourself to be more of a book worm 🐛 or a social butterfly 🦋, we have a spot saved for you! 💖

👭 Membership
To join our group, please make sure you have a clear profile picture so we can see your lovely self! This is a group for women in their mid twenties to early thirties, and you must answer the questions to be allowed in the group. We are based in OC, but we'd love to have you if you're willing to drive from farther away. Our ideal Book Babe is simply interested in cultivating both new friendships and her literary side.
💰 Annual Fee
There is an annual membership fee of $15. All new members receive a 60-day free trial before their dues are collected. Dues are not prorated and are non-refundable. This helps cover the cost of our Meetup membership and ensures more active members.
Social Distancing edit: The free trial will last 14 days and online meetings are free until further notice!
💸 Event Fees
There is an additional fee per Book Club event of $35 to cover the cost of the wine tasting and any other goodies. The event fee will always be the same, regardless of location, and is non-refundable. Each event fee also covers processing fees, as well as holiday party contributions. For extra girl time, we may also host non-book club events with no fee, such as dinner, brunch, and Disneyland meetups, etc.
📆 Attendance and RSVPs
We are a small but active group! Our attendance policies are to encourage engaged members and help us create a community. Please change your RSVP within 48 hours if you can't make it after all! A two strike rule will be applied. If you RSVP and are a no show/no notice twice, you will be removed from the group.
🚫Inactivity
After 3 months of inactivity, you will be removed from the group. Inactivity is defined as non-attendance at our monthly book club meetings where a book is discussed.
👯♀️Free Events
In order to attend our free events you will need to have either attended the most recent book club meeting or have signed up for the next, upcoming meeting. For example, to attend a free event in April you will need to have attended either the March book club meeting or have signed up for the May book club meeting. You may attend up to two free events between book club meetings. This is to keep things more intimate and give everyone a chance to attend. If you sign up for more than two events, you may be removed from the extra events so someone else can have the opportunity to attend. While we want to have a variety of events, the main purpose of this Meetup group is to be a book club.
📖 Didn’t Read?
Totally okay! Even if you don't quite finish the book you will still enjoy the company, and you may find a reason to go back and finish that book after hearing what the group has to say!

💁🏽♀️ Hola, I’m Valeria! Your typical 24-year-old living in Anaheim with a love for adventure, trying new things, and connecting with others! I moved to Orange County in 2018 and haven’t made a ton of new friends in the area…….#SOSpleasecome! If you like coffee, pan dulce, and dancing ‘til you drop, we’ll get along just fine!
We started this book club hoping to create a casual atmosphere to connect with others who share a passion for reading, making new girlfriends, and let’s be honest… wine. 🍷
