Reminder from GTUG:
On May 14th Chris Wysopal, CTO of Veracode will give a talk entitled "Defending Behind the Device: Mobile Application Risks" which was very well attended at the RSA Security Show in February. The event is hosted by GTUG, Fidelity and Kayak and the Boston Android Group is a community sponsor.
We will also have a couple of developers demonstrate live device exploits.

Mobile security is important to the mobile developer community because data breaches can be a big setback to the app company and the developer community. Developers need to anticipate exploits and privacy issues while building apps. For example, Pandora, temporarily suspended all advertising and advertising revenues when they found that a third party library used by the Pandora app was reporting private and personal information to the mobile advertisers
