    Building apps to run on multiple platforms is one of the big challenges for mobile developers. One option is to use a standard such as HTML5 or a platform framework such as Phonegap to build a single app.  The other main option is to build separate native apps for iOS, Android, and perhaps other smartphones and tablets,duplicating the development team but allowing full control in building an optimal app experience. The best choice depends on your requirements, your budget, the target demographic, and the need to provide native user experience.

    This event will feature several brief presentations by expert mobile developers describing how they approached the cross-platform problem.
