Hello everyone,

sending out a quick reminder for tonights event "Building your first Android Application". It should be a
good one, we have 100 people RSVP'd for the event. With ever growing interest for Android apps
and development, this should be one not to miss.

Morgan Bickle of CTO of Kinvey will be doing a "lab" style meetup which will consist of a detailed walk
through of building a game, and help you take your own understanding of Android to the next level.
Bring your laptops, and get ready to get your hand dirty, building, and deploying Android Code!

Learn from an Android technician and coder: Morgan Bickle, CTO of Kinvey.

On any given day you'll find Morgan programming mobile SDK's, building backend API's, and discussing
the future of of web and mobile technology. As part of the core founding team at Kinvey, he owns Kinvey's
technology vision. Prior to Kinvey, he wrote enterprise software for a decade. He held various technology
roles at AMD, where he gained a wealth of of experience designing and deploying application server
infrastructure around the world.

What you will need for the event:
-Power Cord
-Eclipse IDE already installed

For the sake of time we are asking you to have Java (see YouTube Video), the Android SDK, and Eclipse (Eclipse Classic) already installed on your computer. This should take you about a good 20-25 minutes. I have included a couple of videos to walk you through this.

The event will be taking place at hack/reduce Boston's Big Data hacker space.

Hack Reduce

left hand side. (Its a good 15 minute walk)
