In the Mood for Love (25th Anniversary Edition)

Details
In the Mood for Love is consistently voted one of the greatest films ever made. It’s a beautiful film that will be wonderful to see on the big screen. And to celebrate it’s 25th anniversary, the director has included a 9-minute short film that was part of the original project but has rarely been shown. It’s playing in the Coolidge’s main theater—perfect!
“Twenty-five years after its release, Wong Kar-wai’s cinematic masterpiece In the Mood for Love (2000) is returning to the big screen with a special director’s cut. . . Unlike modern re-releases that often appear on streaming platforms, this edition is available only in theaters, restoring the immersive experience of watching Wong’s visual poetry in its intended format.” -- RADII
“Put simply, it’s one of the most sumptuous and gorgeous films ever made, filled with lush cinematography, an incredible sense of style and place, and a palpable sense of heartache.” -- Jason Morehead
The film is certainly in my personal top 10, for whatever that’s worth. :)
