By employing highly qualified and dedicated instructors and by utilizing a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum, ELC provides the perfect environment for rapid language improvement. ELC also offers students extensive support services to ensure that their stay in the United States is culturally as well as educationally enriching. Position Description:ELC is offering a full-time Admissions Associate position for a qualified candidate looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international academic environment. As a critical member of the Marketing Team, the Admissions Associate is responsible for getting interested students to book their course at ELC. The Admissions Associate will be familiar with all ELC locations, courses, programs, accommodations, and services. The Admissions Associate will work directly with prospective students via email, telephone, Skype, and in-person visits. The Admissions Associate is responsible for assisting the student through the inquiry and booking processes to ensure the prospective student has adequate information to book their course of study. Because the Admissions Associate will receive new inquiries daily and be responsible for follow-up of previously received inquiries, the Admissions Associate should be prepared to spend up to 40 or more hours per week communicating with students. This is a full-time, hourly position with the potential for growth within ELC. The responsibilities include: Additional seasonal responsibilities mayinclude: Respond to inquiries within 24 hours Video and written testimonials for website Track inquiries in company database Direct marketing (i.e. Alumni newsletter) Process quotes in company database Monthly reporting Various marketing tasks and projects Weekly and monthly mailings to current inquires and former students Market research (i.e. discounts, current affairs) Qualifications: The individual must demonstrate strong (written and verbal) communication skills, attention to detail, efficiency, accuracy, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask and prioritize. The individual must be willing to spend the majority of their working day communicating via email. A working knowledge of Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat is preferred.
