June Meetup (Building Plugins People Love, Lessons from WP Entrepreneurs)

How to build a plugin people love
Building plugins is awesome! But building a plugin that’s both functional AND really valuable is tough. Last October, we set out to do just that. From user interviews, finding pain points, and growing our user base, we’re sharing everything we’ve learned up to this point.

Nelson Joyce & Andy Cook
We’re two product guys trying to build awesome marketing products for WordPress. We work full-time on LeadIn, an inbound marketing plugin for small businesses. We’re also product team members at Cambridge based software company, HubSpot.

Lessons learned from WordPress Entrepreneurs
Matt Medeiros host of the Matt Report podcast has interviewed nearly 100 WordPress entrepreneurs and startups. From StudioPress to 8bit and everything in between. In this talk, Matt highlights the 3 most important lessons learned from his list of podcast guests.

Matt Medeiros
Matt is the co-founder of SlocumThemes.com and Slocum Studio a digital agency located in South Coast MA.

This meetup is now closed to RSVPs: You CAN show up and sign in at the desk, we just need to cut off the online RSVP to provide a final list to NERD.

    Thanks!

Very much looking forward to your talk. I've been building a WP plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/marketmuse-related-keywords) but I'd love to hear from folks who have been successful doing this.
