Downtown Boston Weekly ASL Social

Hi All!
A number of you have shown interest in a weekday evening meetup in the downtown Boston area. Here it is! Please come and join us for a casual 2 hours ASL social on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

WHO: All who are interested in ASL are welcome to join us. Whether you're Deaf or hearing, beginner or fluent ASL user, we're here to share and socialize in this beautiful language.

WHERE: We'll be in the Prudential Center Food Court on 800 Boylston Street in Copley Square. Since we'll most likely be the only group of people signing, we should be pretty easy to spot.

RULES: Voices off, use paper and pen if you need to--this helps us learn and its Deaf friendly

RESOURCES: For those of you who are new to ASL and want to come prepared, here are some very good websites with free online classes.

RSVP: Please RSVP for the meetup that you will be attending so we know how many people to expect.

CONTACT: Please feel free to contact host (Sean) if you have any questions or concerns. Hope to see you there! :)

Hi! I am really looking forward to this event. I really want to improve my ASL. My grandparents were deaf and my mother is a CODA and my signing is very poor considering. I am slow and do not know a lot of signs but I really hope to learn more. I may be a little late to this event as I get out of class at 545 on Weds. Hope to meet a bunch of new friends!!! :)
