Re: [bostonatheists] What Are We?

We are, what we become conscious of, that becomes sustainable, and recallable.
Why, what lasts in memory, while the atoms that make up the host of those memories change, and are not the same, as those atoms that were present when the memory was stored, is a curious question to explore. However we sure seem to be, what we become conscious of, that lasts, is sustainable, recallable, resilient, and has an particular identifiable body, that remains compatable with those conscious memories, and patterns of reasoning.
That's my attempt at answering that question. It's a very fascinating question, and deserving plenty of interest, in my opinion.
Jim, thanks for posing it.

Subject: [bostonatheists] What Are We?

I asked this "What are We" question on today, including enough details to make it clear that I wasn't interested in superficial answers. This simple sounding question is one of the deepest in the Universe. I'd very much appreciate my friends and acquaintances here giving me their thoughts on this riddle. is a social Q&A site, and has some very bright members. You do not need to join to post, but membership is free. It would be great to have some backup, as I have angered a group of Christian apologists there calling themselves the rat pack. Please join and participate if you have the time. I've found that I learn enough that the time I spend there is a very sound investment.
