Santa Clause

From: Roy

Here’s my dilemma…

I have a son, who’s going to turn 1yr old next week.  Although I doubt he will understand the significance of “X-mas” this year, I’m sure he will soon learn about Santa Claus (and I hope he doesn’t learn about the other bearded guy until much much later!).

As much as I am a die-hard atheist, a part of me wants him to grow up believing in some fantasies, including Santa Clause, at least for a couple of years.  Isn’t that part of being a child?  Are we right to deny Santa Clause from our children?
