Backlog for Talks & Topics

Was thinking a good idea for a short (or maybe medium) talk would be source control integration. With the new TFS and Git integration, it would be cool to demo how they hook up. Mainly because I haven't looked at that yet and would love to know.

Another cool idea would be using the new virtual networks to create an on-prem/cloud hybrid architecture.

Your webhook handler demo last night was quite interesting. I was thinking about a trigger from GitHub for a while for continuous integration(on Azure site they call it continuous delivery) and didn’t really know something like this existed. I think the Azure or even .Net community can use something like this.

... a talk on continuous integration. I would like to give a talk but not this August. I have done some research and want to get my hands dirty first. If I do a talk then it would be like ½ hour format similar to what Bill did last night.

I have threatened in the past to do talks on:
Multitenancy (that ninja thing Nazik pointed on on the insiders list is pretty cool)
CQRS Journey

What can we talk about that we learned from RootsPoint?

I think deep drills would be cool on:
Blobs
Tables
Persistent VM

I could do a Blobs deep dive ("fun with blobs") since I think there are some cool things to play around with.

Also, related, like "tools" talks:
Using Cerebrata
Using other tools (which?)
Perusing the nuget options relevant to VS

I'd also like to build a NuGet package or two containing some reusable Azure code. That'd be cool. That's a plunge I have not yet taken.

Undertanding crypto in the cloud is also important.

Asynchronous & Parallel programming with TPL and async/await. What is the difference between TPL and the new async/await. When to use either. When to use both! Difference from older (APM) method calls. How it all applies to Azure to write performant, scalable code!
