We are starting a new tradition at Boston Data Vis! Once a quarter we will come together for a series of community talks. Each talk will be about 10 minutes long and we will aim to have between 4-6, depending on the submissions.
If you would like to submit a talk, please fill out the following form:
Note the deadline is March 11th.
In no particular order, here are our speakers:
Adam Marcus (and maybe Eugene Wu) - Teaching Data Literacy
Adam Hyland - Why Nate Silver is Famous
Lynn Cherny - Nodebox for Vis Sketches
Dan Tillberg - Visualize your [backbone-powered] visualizations
C. Todd Lombardo - Visual Thinking
Mark Schindler - A more intuitive treemap?
If you have any questions, please post them as a comment or email me directly: irene at bocoup.com.
We have a sponsor! There shall be pizza and beer. Thank you RunKeeper!
