Rate your experience with PHP (Beginner, Proficient, Expert, Not a Programmer)

I having been using php for about 7 years and consider myself proficient. Although I use it for 90 percent of my web products, I have shifted from using it directly in web pages and now use if mostly for the server side and use ajax as the connector. I am currently working with php 6 and have been planning to find a way to use some of its new features.

Which of the following technololgies are you planning to learn in the near future? PHP, jQuery, HTML5 (Include Beginner, Proficient, Expert for each)

What topics would you like to see in a future Boston PHP Meetup?

Having not been to any meetings and only now looked at the group I cannot make any suggestions as to what is needed. I know for me, information on various api's and mashups is what I would be interested in. I am happy with the direction php has been going and like to keep up with what the new tools can do.

How did you find or hear about Boston PHP? (Please be specific)

I was a member of the Boston chapter or the ACM and I learned of your group through Edward Freedman, who was Boston ACM's president last year.

I have been working with software since 1983 from Apples to UNIX. After different of jobs from in the tech world I returned to school and got a BA from Harvard Extension School. I currently use php, javascript, ajax and prototype.

What Marty is saying about this Meetup Group

First Time, glad I did it. I would have been nice having a table for people to get more information. The one from the sponsor was present but no real sense who they were or why they were there.
