For our March meet-up, we have an excellent line-up of speakers from IBM Watson and X.ai's product teams . Oscar from IBM will provide an overview Watson's bot development tools as well as best practices involved in building bots. Laney from x.ai will provide a great case-study on how x.ai has made some of their key design decisions in build their scheduling email bot. As always, we'll also have members of our community present the bots that they have been working on. Oscar Kafati joined IBM Watson as a product manager and helped launched the Watson Conversation Service for bot development. Before that, he was a product manager at AOL working on Mapquest, Moviephone, AOL Yellow Pages before moving on to AOL Search to create related searches, "did you mean" spelling corrections and a query classification system. After AOL acquired Relegence, a text analytics and news aggregation service, he was tapped to lead the organization. He transformed Relegence into a semantic technology and machine learning group within AOL that powered multiple consumer facing and advertising products across the AOL network.

Laney Caldwell is a Product Manager at x.ai (http://x.ai/), a New York startup building a personal assistant who schedules meetings for you powered by artificial intelligence. She graduated from Brown University with a degree in Political Science.
