Rueda de Casino (Wheel of Casino)
Rueda is a type of salsa round dance, born from the Cuban dance casino. Couples dance a variation of salsa in a circle and perform moves that the 'caller' calls out, including passing moves that exchange leaders and followers.
Recommended for those who enjoy the community aspect of dancing.
Classes 6:30-7:30 pm, followed by Salsa/WCS/Bachata Classes at 7:30 pm (See our other event) & Social Dancing from 8:30 to 11 pm.
Rueda typically has 3 levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
Main dance floor: DJ plays an alternating set of Salsa/Bachata/Timba music (Rueda is danced to Timba music typically) during social dancing

This is the first time ever that Salsa, Bachata, Rueda and West Coast Swing have come together to make an AMAZING night of dancing. 2 rooms of great lessons and dancing so you can try something new. We have a BLAST every week!
Organizer: Snowhawk Productions
What to wear: Whatever you feel comfortable moving around in and NON-MARKING shoes that you can turn/spin in.
Cost: $15 for the whole night (1/2 classes + Social Dancing), $10 Social Dancing only starting at 8:30 pm
Parking: Free parking for attendees available on-site
Event Size: 80-150 people a night at Salsa/Bachata, 40-80 people for WCS
You are not required to bring a partner, we rotate through leads and follows during the class, and you're welcome to RESPECTFULLY ask anyone to dance during Social Dancing
