At the core of design is content: when users visit a website, pull up an app, or flip through a magazine, they're interested in getting information. They want to know what you have to say. And the process of planning for, aggregating, organizing, and publishing that information in a useful, usable, and appropriate way is content strategy—and today, few people talk, write, and teach about content strategy as much as Margot Bloomstein.
Margot will be joining Brew City UX for our inaugural event, a fireside chat to discuss how content strategy fits into UX, where the discipline (and its practitioners) came from, and where it's going in the context of responsive design. We'll discuss the content tools you need even if you're a UX team of one, and one lucky attendee will take home BrandSort, one of the industry's most popular tools for developing a message architecture.

In the past 20 years, Margot helped develop content strategy practices in many leading agencies and corporations, including: Timberland, Harvard University and cultural tourism in the state of Nevada. She also produces BrandSort, a tool embraced by consultancies of all sizes to clarify communication goals. She is the author of Content Strategy at Work: Real-World Stories to Strengthen Every Interactive Engagement.
