Telescombe Village Loop Hike 🥾⛰️🏞 from Southease

RSVP opens two weeks before at 9am

Join us for a walk round the South Downs to Telescombe Village from Southease station.

We will start at 14:15 from Southease Railway Station (W3W: ///swims.undivided.nutrient).

Trail: 5.7 miles/9.2 Km should take approx. 2.5 hours. We will stop once or twice and make sure we take time to enjoy the scenery. For those who have been before this will be a slower hike to enjoy the scenery more.

What to bring: Snacks & Lunch if you want to (vegan only please), drinks (water not vodka), and a waterproof (because this is the UK). This might be a muddy trail so walking boots or old shoes are recommended... your brand new vans will get dirty, so wear shoes you don't mind getting a bit messed up.

Getting there:
Train 🚂 13:36 from Brighton Railway Station will get into Southease at 14:06. Trains back are at 5 mins past the hour, so will likely get the 17:05 back. Cost £6.99 without a railcard.

Driving 🚗 You can park in Lewes and get the train. I am not aware of parking at Southease.

Weather 🌧 This is the UK. The weather is at best unpredictable so we will check the day before and post whether this can go ahead. Light rain will not stop us and even if it looks ok, bring a waterproof.
