- Brisbane Web Tech Nov 2013: Lightning Talks
Unfortunately we've received late cancellation from our speaker Darren Mackey, who was scheduled to talk about Analysing Data with Multivariate Statistics As it's such late notice, I've changed this month's topic to Lightning Talks - many of you will already be familiar with the format from other meetups, barcamps and conferences... each speaker (and you don't necessarily have to tell me before the evening) gets 4-5 minutes to talk about something of interest. Tell us about something you're working on, a tip or trick you reckon could really help fellow developers, a new cool tool you've discovered, the fact that your company is currently hiring (make sure you tell enough info on the business and the job opening without turning it into silly advertising), telling about a project you're working on and would like some assistance with. Sign up and join the fun! We'll finish up between 8 and 8:30pm.
