====================

Hi folks,

After some twists and turns, it’s finally time for an EthnoMingle talk!

Our first guest speaker will be Dawn Walter, an anthropologist who runs the research studio, Mundy & Anson. She is doing a research project on how people in Bristol are faring during the pandemic (www.mundyandanson.co.uk/blog/life-under-coronavirus-in-bristol).

Anthropologists favour face-to-face research (ethnography). Having to switch to online research has meant Dawn has had to reflect on the pros and cons of online versus face-to-face. For this talk, Dawn will share her thoughts about how it has shaped and will shape her research practice.
