Announcing a new Meetup for Bubbles Up Jacksonville!

What: Troy Springs State Park

When: May 25,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: For those that can't make the whole Memorial Day weekend a dive weekend, how about a day of diving?

A great easy set of dives. Get wet since the weather will be warm! Troy Springs is a state park with picnic facilities, restrooms, wash station, and swimming. The springs pour out to the Suwannee River and present a beautiful caption of old Florida. This dive is about 70feet with pure visibility to the surface at all times. The fee is $10 per diver and you MUST bring your dive card as the park rangers check those. OW certification is all that is required, limited overhang and no caves or caverns. Easy access to town with a few restaurants and shops.

There is not a dive shop in the area so you must bring all of your gear and tanks with you. We will be able to do 2 dives and still head home by 1pm.

Divers that wish to carpool can meet at the Panera on Atlantic Blvd at Southside to depart around 7:15. It is about a 90min drive. Please notify me ahead of time if you want to carpool as I have a minivan and can accomodate at least 4 divers and gear. Feel free to make this a family event, however you will have to drive your own family : )

We were not able to dive this spring on April 4th because it was flooded. Hopefully we won't have that problem this time. Check the website for updates as the date approaches.
