. The Buddhist symposium will look in our on-going wars, ecological and economic imbalance such as global climate change, poverty and political oppression. This event will explore our society from a Buddhist perspective, exploring this rich religious philosophy for lessons applicable to our current dilemmas. Of particular interest will be lessons of gratitude, humility and interdependence emphasized within the Shin Buddhist tradition.

We will be leaving Middletown area at 9:30 a.. Let us know you name and location. If you are on the way to NYC we can pick you up off the way on Merritt Parkway at a commuter lot. This activity is free of charge but we will share in the fuel.
