Hi Tom
I am sorry I could not make it Saturday. Are you posting key points of the discussion and what are the next steps? Even though is quite far away for me, it is an important group and I hope I can participate in the next actions.
PS I got my home line from Brighthouse (unlimited domestic calls) and got the phone I bought to work yesterday, so if you need help with calling now I can do it.

Below is from email I sent to all the BPF-Tampabay group members previously. Thanks...Tom

OK, so it's time for another meeting, even though everyone is super
busy, including me! But our meetings are actually fun and we get a
chance to know each other better, and talk with others outside of our
own small circle, plus we do something really good for peace and
socially engaged Buddhism. Last time, everyone felt that we had
accomplished something! So I encourage everyone to make a special
effort to come this Saturday.

We will have a potluck lunch as usual, so think about something
interesting to bring. I will bring some romaine lettuce and tomatoes
and cheese to make a salad, plus some bread and humus. I like humus.
Also think about what you would like to discuss, what you think we
should be doing this Spring. We have already reserved several
locations for Change Your Mind Day, so we will pick the final location
and discuss preparations for it. This is one minimum piece of business
we have to do.

We can also discuss what the BPF is doing on Burma, such as the recent
delegation visit there. We have been thinking about showing films or
having an educational forum or public gathering, like we did downtown
in the park in October.

Aside from business, we can also exchange books on Buddhism, like last
time. We should have a selection on the table. Also, it is good to
bring any fliers you want to distribute or exchange information.
Hope to see as many people as possible this Saturday!

Tom Lacey
