This is a group for people who are interested in practicing mindfulness in a practical way.
Members can share their own experiences of mindfulness and practice mindfulness together.
The process of mindful-walking practice:
Step 1: Practice mindful-walking in order to get Qi through the body and build an association with one object-- the sounds of your steps.
Step 2: Promote concentration until getting the highest level-- the mind fully connects with the object with a long period time--you can hear your steps for a while without any thoughts even in a noisy environment.
Step 3: After you practice mindful-walking for a certain amount of time, you will automatically build up your own breathing rhythm with your walking pace.
Step 4: Eventually, experience "no thoughts" during walking.
Step 5: After step 4, get mindfulness most of the time. Be able to aware of yourself and the relationship between you and situations.
Step 6: Go to the next level of Mediation-- Serenity.
In summer, we will share the mindful-walking meditation method and do it together.
