Bunco is a game played with preferably 12 people (3 tables of 4 ladies at each table). The game is played in partners, your partner is the person sitting directly across from you. It is a dice game. There are three dice. The game begins with the ring of a bell. One person at each table starts rolling the dice. If there is at least one die with a one on it, they roll again until they don't roll a one. All the ones that they have rolled are added up and they record that total. The next player rolls the same way and on and on until someone at any of the tables has a total of 21 points. That round is over and the next round starts with the players rolling for a two. The game continues through the rolling for the number six. When that round is over the two partners who have won the last round move to two different tables. At the end of 36 rounds prizes are distributed for most wins, most losses, most Buncos, etc. It's a very fast moving game and a lot of fun. It sounds complicated in the beginning but when you get the hang of it you will find it to be quite easy to learn!
