What we're about

Public Group

We invite you to join us for face to face networking with business owners, women professionals and others to bridge cultural, digital and other divides. We are allies and friends for "ONE CITY, ONE FUTURE"! Let's engage in conversations for friendship and better understanding to strengthen harmony and unity of purpose among people from different groups and backgrounds. Let's get to know each other better for mutual understanding and support!

Join us for conversations over lunch (self-pay) on the 3rd Sundays of each month in Downtown Washington D.C. to develop greater understanding and help to bridge divides based on technology, ethnic origin, culture, religion, occupation, income, group, beliefs, etc. Join the discussion in the message board of this group. We look forward to meet you in person on the 3rd Sundays of each month as well as at followup small group followup conversations. Thanks for your interest and participation.

This program facilitates spontaneous conversations to learn, support, heal, exchange ideas, share insights, lessons learned, new opportunities and identify ways to transcend divisions to build One City of allies and friends. Join the volunteer training program to begin the process of training and mentoring others. Please invite your friends to stay in touch with friends, old and new, at the event!

This program provides a friendly context to share contacts and whatever is useful, practical or humorous. Discover differences in assumptions and beliefs. This is also a way to help newcomers learn about a neighborhood and what matters to others in the group and in different groups. This volunteer local community initiative provides opportunities to develop new community investors to co-develop new approaches or develop better solutions to build a better future for all.

We invite you to join the volunteer community investors team to develop materials and shape a better quality of life together. Begin by attending the 3rd Sundays networking sessions, introduce yourself to the co-organizers and others at the event, show up for volunteer orientations and followups meetings at Capital Professional Center, 2423 Pennsylvania Ave. NW first floor conference room, DC 20037. Express your interest in serving as a member or sponsor or lead a group and in the process develop your support network.

AGENDA for the 3rd Sunday events: (1) Networking conversations over lunch or drink (self-pay for your own drink/food) (2) A round of self-introductions to the group, network with others at the event for as long as you wish. We welcome people from all 8 wards of the City and from the Greater Washington D.C. area.

Mark your calendar, 12:30PM every third Sunday of the month.
