KBN Mt Gravatt Business Networking Group Morning tea

Details

This is a special educational networking group, for people new to business to connect and get trusted referrals from local small businesses, to grow in a safe and supported environment.

# Who can you meet in this group?

JULIE & DOUG BANNISTER – KBN founders
With over 14 years of experience in establishing and growing network groups in SE Queensland (way before it was “cool” for business coaches to do it), Doug & Julie know what it takes to build a supportive business community where ‘the people matter’ and growth of the business is number one priority.

JOHN DADDOW - Owner of Constantech
For anything AI, John is your guy. “Solving The Pain Point of Content Creation” is what John can help you with. Save yourself days of work from getting stuck in the AI rabbit warren and learning how to use it. AI can’t help you if you don’t have a strategy to use it. Come and talk to John about that.

BRETT O’CONNOR – Founder of the Inception Network
As a startup business coach, Brett keeps up to date with all the free stuff from his diploma of business class for international students. Simple enough for over 50s to use as this is the average age of a business owner these days, Brett is part of the Qld government’s mentoring 4 Growth, so also uses his 30 years of experience in business to help get access to government funding. He is also partnering with the Business and Jobs Expos this year helping solopreneurs attract and retain talent. So if that’s you, talk to Brett about employing your first-ever staff to help.

Julie Mason – Guest speaker
"Over the past 10 years, I've taught thousands of small business owners, entrepreneurs, speakers and consultants, how to generate leads and sales easily and elegantly.
I provide my clients not only with step-by-step formulas but also the underlying sales psychology of the WHY and HOW to generate leads and sales without them feeling pushy, icky or sleazy. Throughout my 25 years in sales, I have followed the mantra that 'a sale is not something you pursue, it's something that happens to you when you are immersed in serving your customer'.
I teach what I've personally done to build a successful business using the power of LinkedIn."

## WIIFM?

As this is a new KBN group, we will have extra incentives for new members to join, including:

  • Monthly payment plans
  • Heavily discounted of the joining fee, with access to other KBN events
  • Books and online courses from qualified business and marketing trainers
  • Free business health checks and strategy sessions, part of the fortnightly meeting at KBN Mt Gravatt

Come along and find out all the membership T&C and ask all the questions you like. Or if you just want to come along and have adult conversations to grow your business, you are most welcome to come along and see how we do what we do best.

Includes Morning tea, for $15.

There are also loads of benefits for existing businesses to attend this group, looking to grow sales or attract and retain talent in their organisation.

Planned as a morning tea so parents on the south side of Brisbane can make it each fortnight in plenty of time after doing the school drop-offs.

Part of Australia’s fastest-growing business networking group, the KBN network, which already has many events each week right across Southeast Queensland for you to tap into.

Centrally located at Mt Gravatt to make it easier for people in Redlands and Logan to attend, who know all too well you don’t have time for referrals in business for tire kickers, who are not looking to buy, rather they want to sell stuff to you.

This for-purpose group is designed to help local small businesses implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals, creating real action and change in the world, right down to your local community level.

# What are UN SDGs?

They are a list of 17 actions that all countries all around the world can use to break the cycle of disadvantage, for this, and the next generations. We’ll start off on this global movement with the 3 on this list that we see as an urgent need to help small businesses in Australia first:
#4 – Quality Education
#5 – Gender Equality
#1 – No Poverty
