## 2B Hike to East Peak via Vic Haun and Temelpa trails

6.8 miles, 1,500 ft. elevation gain. Strenuous. Meet at Alpine Club Lodge. We'll take Hogback, Hoo-Koo-E Loo, Vic Haun, Temelpa and Vera Dunshee to East Peak for lunch, water and toilets. Return trip is through West Point Inn. (Apparently there's pancakes!) Bring plenty of water, sunblock, hat, etc.

Please arrive at Meeting point by 9:15 to complete the paperwork.
At the start of the hike, you must complete and sign a CAC liability waiver.
Please let the hike leader know if you are interested in assisting with the sign in process.
The hike leader will keep you informed of any changes in the plan for the hike. The exact route will depend on the weather that day and the hike leader's best plan for the day. If you are concerned about the weather, please check for local red flag warnings with the US Weather Service or call Mt.Tam State Park at 415-388-2070.
Advance signup is required via MeetUp or through contacting the hike leader. If you have RSVP'd but then realize that you can't attend the hike, please notify the hike's on-line Meetup site. Please change your RSVP to "Not Going" (in order to do this on MeetUp, go to the Attendees section, click on the 3 dots to the right of your name (for options) or contact the hike leader before the hike. It is important that you do this by NOON on the day before the hike (unless it's an emergency) which will allow someone who is on the waiting list to be able to join the hike.
No guests or dogs are allowed on the hike.
