We usually plan to meet up once a month for local events, but the real magic happens during our seasonal trips and co living experiences where we spend days or even weeks together in amazing destinations We might gather for a casual coffee chat in Calgary one month and then find ourselves working from a beachside villa in Mexico the next The rhythm of the group really follows what members are excited about so if there's energy for more get togethers we go for it
We love seeing members jump in however feels natural Whether you're here to quietly explore remote work possibilities or you're all in and ready to co host an event or share your freelance journey both are totally welcome The more you engage the more you'll get out of it but there's no pressure We've had people start out just reading the updates and eventually lead a workshop or plan a group trip because they found their people here
I started this group after spending two years working remotely from Southeast Asia and South America I kept meeting talented people who felt isolated or unsure how to blend travel with sustainable income Back home in Calgary I realized so many others were curious but didn't know where to start I wanted to create the kind of community I wish I had at the beginning a real supportive space where you could learn from others who've built freedom into their lives without having to figure it all out alone
