What we’re about

The Calgary IT Pro Community Association ("CIC") is the place where we bring together members of the IT profession from Calgary and throughout southern Alberta - regardless of your role or level of experience.

The Calgary IT Pro Community Association ("CIC") is a not-for-profit association registered under the Alberta Societies Act. CIC is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by members at our Annual Meeting held in March of each year.

CIC is a vendor-agnostic group that holds monthly technical meetings - typically on the 3rd Tuesday evening of each month. CIC also hosts other special and social events at various times during the year. Members network with each other, learn from subject matter experts and industry leaders, share, respond and support the IT industry and IT professionals.

CIC membership is open to any IT professional or student over 18 residing and working within the boundaries defined by area code 403.

Benefits of Paid CIC Membership:
1. Free attendance at CIC's monthly technical meetings.
2. Leadership experience from volunteering on CIC Board and Committees.
3. Career advancement opportunities via networking with industry peers
4. Peer mentoring and subsidized IT certification study groups.
5. Stay on top of current IT trends and technologies.
